Gynecologic Oncology Surgery Specialist
Prof. Dr. Eralp Başer was born in Ankara in 1981. After graduating from Ankara Gazi Anatolian High School, he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and received the title of Doctor of Medicine. Between 2004-2009, he completed his specialty training at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
After completing his state service obligation, he completed his residency in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at Ankara Zekai Tahir Burak Training and Research Hospital between 2011-2014. During this period, he received training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery in gynecologic cancers in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Gynecologic Oncology) at the University of Michigan in the USA.
In 2014, he received the title of University Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2015-2016, he completed his state service obligation as a Gynecologic Oncology Surgery specialist at Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital. In 2016, he started to work at Istanbul Liv Hospital Ulus Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Department. Between 2016-2019, he worked at Liv Hospital Ulus Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Department and Istinye University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since 2019, she started to serve her patients in her private practice, Başer Clinic.
Between 2020 and 2022, he served as a Professor at Istanbul Health and Technology University (ISTUN) Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
His special areas of expertise include;
– Laparoscopic and robotic gynecology and gynecologic oncology operations (laparoscopy and robotic surgery)

– Human papillomavirus (HPV) infections
– Precancerous conditions of the cervix and cervical cancer screening, colposcopy
He has published many national and international articles, book chapters and presentations in his field.
He is married and has two children.
